Control Components distribution deal

Control Components has been appointed as a distributor for Lake Monitors Inc of the USA.

Lake Monitors manufactures visual flow monitors, flowmeters and flow alarms for both liquids and gases. The company's core design incorporates a sharp edge variable orifice method that provides accurate and repeatable flow rate measurement. The variable area flowmeters can be applied on high-pressure systems, up to 400 bar on liquids and 69 bar air/gases. Body materials available are aluminium, brass or stainless steel. The flowmeters are available in up to 26 flow ranges, in 24 different port sizes, in either BSP, NPT and SAE thread forms, all with ±4% of full-scale accuracy.

Applications include bearing lube monitoring and alarming, coolant monitoring, monitoring the flow of chemicals in manufacturing and other applications where fluids are flowing in pipes.

Other products include a low cost flow monitor for water and petrochemicals constructed of polycarbonate and polysulfone and a flow switch used to detect insufficient flow conditions of gas in automated or controlled shielded welding processes.
