CIMNET Announces Relationship with Microsoft Business Solutions
Saturday, 02 November, 2002
CIMNET Inc. today announced its partner authorization from Microsoft Corporation's Microsoft Business Solutions for the purpose of integrating its Factelligence solution with Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta for the upper mid-market.
The combined solution offering is specifically designed for growing manufacturing businesses in the $100-$800 million-revenue range.
This total solution gives customers greater visibility into business and factory floor information required to make critical real time decisions for their business, all through a Web framework. In addition, it provides customers a "designed for" mid-market ERP/MES suite built on Microsoft standards, while at the same time eliminating costly integration costs normally associated with implementing both an ERP and MES solution independently.
The combined offering is expected to provide customers a total ERP and MES solution for the same investment they would normally make in ERP alone. Microsoft Business Solutions offers customers in the United States and Canada a Total Solution Financing option, available from Microsoft Capital. The benefit of this program makes it easier for customers to purchase and implement solutions in a timely fashion.
The Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta and CIMNET Factelligence solution will be distributed and implemented through a select group of Microsoft Business Solutions' reselling partner channel and CIMNET's integration partner channel.
"Today's announcement extends both of our application offerings to better meet the needs of growing manufacturers while removing the pain and expense of managing complex integration," said John Richardson, President and CEO of CIMNET. "The combination of Axapta and Factelligence delivers a powerful solution without the headaches and costly integration of traditional enterprise software."
"This partner relationship with CIMNET is extending the functionality of our core ERP solutions thereby providing increased value to customers while opening up new markets for Axapta. Vertical partners such as CIMNET are important to our strategy, "said Claus Minet, manager of partner development Microsoft Business Solutions.
