The Hon Ian Macfarlane MP, Minister for Industry, Tourism and Resources, presented nine companies with awards for excellence and innovation on behalf of the Australian Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (AEEMA) at a gala event recently.

The Minister also formally launched the Australian Innovation Festival at the event. The AEEMA Excellence Awards 2004 winners are:
