Advantech expands into India

Advantech India is a new regional business unit in the South Asia-Pacific region. The new office is located in Bangalore city, which is popularly known as the Silicon Valley of India.
The company initiated Indian market development in 2002, and in 2003 appointed a resident sales manager to build business opportunities within the rapidly growing market. In February 2005, it formed a complete regional business unit in India, to provide a network of technical support, channel management and marketing resources. Advantech Singapore will act as a regional support hub, providing logistics and business development.
