2007 Engineers Australia Excellence award winner

Matrikon Inc and Meridian Energy have been honored with the 2007 Engineers Australia Excellence Awards (Newcastle Division) for their Predictive Asset Management (PAM) system.
The submission was met with high praise from the panel of 15 senior engineers, who commented, "This project showed a high degree of collaboration between Meridian Energy and Matrikon which resulted in a very successful project. This is predominantly a software integration project using some off-the-shelf products put together to solve this problem but easily adapted for a variety of other asset management situations."
Having won this divisional award, the PAM system entry will now be judged on a national level.
