Wonderware Intelligence Software 2012

Invensys has enhanced its Wonderware Intelligence software with concurrent licensing, enabling multiple-user access to plant dashboards and interactive reports. The updated software reduces the administration usually required for multiplant, multi-instance Intelligence software deployments and for groups of concurrent users who share or need access to the same information in rotating shifts or during 24/7 manufacturing operations. For shop floor operators, it provides cost-effective enterprise manufacturing intelligence while facilitating multiplant and enterprise-wide collaboration.

Wonderware Intelligence connects, collects, aggregates and contextualises operational metrics into a single and open information model and database in near real time. An EMI application, Intelligence crosses multiple industrial data sources, such as historians, MES and batch management systems, as well ERP or quality systems data. Operators can easily access this high-value information themselves and are provided with easy-to-use tools for self-service analytics, interactive reports and dashboards, helping to improve daily decision making and enabling continuous process improvement. For example, plant or production line/unit performance can be compared with unified operational KPIs within business units to apply best practices from the company’s most productive plants.

Intelligence supports connectivity to many Wonderware and non-Wonderware data sources, including Wonderware Historian, OSI PI Historian, transactional data sources (databases), file-based data and other operational databases. Out-of-the-box data models and dashboards provide instant reporting results for Wonderware MES Software, Wonderware InBatch, ArchestrA System Platform and SimSci-Esscor ROMeo software solutions; and integration to ArchestrA System Platform provides a standardised configuration environment, real-time data connectivity and data preprocessing.
