Syspro has released a range of factory scheduling software to provide the ability to schedule production in factories to a detailed level.
There are three products - Graphical Planning Board, Finite Scheduler and Advanced Scheduler - ranging from the least sophisticated to the very sophisticated. Advanced Scheduler is classified as an APS (advanced planning and scheduling) system.
The software is designed to help manufacturing plants maintain control of production resources, manage customer requirements and manage the current situation on the floor, taking into account shift patterns and other complex constraints.
These products are the result of collaboration between Syspro and Preactor International, a specialist in scheduling solutions.
