IFS has announced the launch of IFS Enterprise Explorer (IEE), a new user interface for IFS Applications. IFS has developed the new interface in response to a common problem in the enterprise software industry - useability. Vendors are adding more and more functionality onto their products, but they are getting more difficult to use.

Working closely with its customers, IFS has developed IEE, a web interface which is intended to be more intuitive and easy to use.

IEE is an internet application designed specifically to increase the useability of IFS Applications and improve productivity throughout the business. The simplicity of the new user interface enables companies to roll it out rapidly, train new users quickly and consequently reduce IT costs in both deployment and operation.

Navigation technologies such as adaptable link pages, contextual breadcrumb navigation and visual recent screens makes it easier for users to find their way around the application, and a ‘Google-like’ search function uses keywords rather than complex queries.

IEE will be available to customers on version 7.5 of the IFS Applications ERP suite.
