XYZ Innovation is now offering Objet’s first multi-material 3D printer, the Connex500, as well as Objet’s desktop 3D printer, the Alaris30.

The versatility and speed of both printers enables improvements to the internal development speed and capabilities of businesses involved in prototyping and design.

Printing in materials with mechanical properties similar to the finished products is one of the key features of Objet’s printers. A wide spectrum of materials including ABS-like materials, polypropylene-like, rubber-like materials, and even medically approved materials means Objet printers have a wide range of applications.

These 3D printers can produce smooth-surfaced models, complex geometries and moving elements in build layers as fine as 0.016 mm.

Further, the user-friendly printers eliminate many of the pre- and post-handling elements of traditional rapid prototyping machines. Using the Objet Studio software, a few mouse clicks turn 3D CAD files into highly accurate models.
