Proficloud from Phoenix Contact is an open IoT system that can be used to create the right solution for every application. This could be cloud-based data acquisition, analysis or a complete automation concept. With the Proficloud software development kit (SDK), users can program cloud services according to their requirements. To do so, they develop so-called application containers, which are then instantiated any number of times and operated in the Proficloud.

The application containers are responsible for the functioning of the software once this has been ported from the development environment into the Proficloud. The software kit is therefore a useful solution for creating custom alarm and monitoring services and operating the containers in the Proficloud or alternatively on local IT infrastructure.
