Emission monitoring – the first step to making your plant safe and sustainable - an eBook

Monitoring of emissions is important for many industries: from the ‘dirtiest’ polluters (coal-fired thermal power stations) through to medium ones (paper mills, cement plants, chemical producers, iron and steel mills) and the ‘cleanest’ polluters (food and beverage producers, water and wastewater plants).

Some emissions are visible (like smoke coming out of chimneys), while others can go unobserved – unless manufacturers utilise the proper equipment to monitor them.

New technologies and instrumentation make it possible to easily monitor emissions and take measures to reduce their negative impact on people and the environment, making the plant more efficient at the same time.
