Pizzato LK S lockout device for NS safety switches

The Pizzato NS series of safety switches make it possible to achieve maximum PLe and SIL3 safety levels by installing just one device on the machine. This avoids additional wiring and allows for quicker installation.

The LK S lockout device for the NS series safety switches is of metal construction and is attached laterally to the holes on the NS device, without any auxiliary fixing plate or support.

The red sliding plate, in addition to mechanically closing the actuator entry hole, also functions as a shield for the RFID receiver antenna on the NS switch, therefore ensuring an additional level of protection against accidental closure of the guard and untimely restart. This is particularly effective for machines with an installed low-level coded actuator, making any attempt to bypass the switch impossible. When the door is raised a ring emerges on the top of the device, allowing insertion of up to five padlocks.

The shape of the sliding plate that seals the actuator hole allows the lockout device to be used on both hinged and sliding guards and on both left and right sides.
