Leuze ELC 100 safety light curtains

The ELC 100 safety light curtains from Leuze represent an alternative to the company’s MLC 500 series and are suitable for applications with operating ranges of up to 6 m.

The robust safety light curtains have key features for guarding machine openings and access points on machines or systems. Their resolutions of 17 and 30 mm enable them to easily detect fingers and hands. The protective field extends to the edge of the housing so that no dead zones are created during integration, and the devices are available with protective field lengths of 300 to 1500 mm. They are also designed to be resistant to shock and vibration.

Due to their 4-pin connection and supports with swivel function, the safety light curtains are quick to install. A practical feature is the multi-level alignment display, which is easy to read and can be used to quickly position the devices in the optimum alignment. The devices do not require configuration.
