Euchner CTP EX transponder coded safety switch
The Euchner transponder coded safety switch CTP with guard locking has been modified and approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres according to the ATEX directive.
For example, measures have been taken to prevent the formation of sparks and an additional protective enclosure is provided.
The safety switch has a locking force of 2600 N and it can support up to 20 devices connected in series. In addition to compliance for use in ATEX Zone 2 and Zone 22 environments, the CTP EX meets the requirements of EN/ISO 13849-1 as well as EN/ISO 14119 for a type 2 switch with a high coding level.
