The T-connector is an IP65 classified pre-wired connector where two or more electro-mechanical switches, VS4128, are serially connected to provide one common output.
A decentralised vacuum system with several vacuum switches and output signals can be ‘reduced’ to just one input signal for the PLC or bus I/O. With the T-connector it is also very simple to convert from a centralised to a decentralised vacuum system, since the existing software for a centralised vacuum pump system with maybe one or two vacuum feedback signals does not need to be changed.
Applications for the T-connector can be found in many industries with a high degree of automation, and where there is a need for vacuum sensing on each suction cup for maximum safety and elimination of scrapped parts. Examples are the aircraft, automotive, furniture, whitegoods and glass industries.
The T-connector is quickly installed with standard male-to-female M12 eurofast cable assemblies and requires no settings.
