The Roto Pumps helical rotor positive displacement Xtra Value M series employs next generation improved geometry elements.

The rotor and stator offer minimal leakage and longer service life by reducing abrasion through lower rubbing speeds compared with conventional geometry.

The muscle behind the range is the Cardan universal joint. This uses two sets of bushes and pins, perpendicular to each other and each providing freedom of movement in its own plane, while maintaining maximum contact between bush and pin.

The benefits are: reduction in wear of joint components - leading to a much longer service life; a compact pump design; fitting or removing seals becomes easy as the joint head can be easily removed from the main shaft without dismantling the bearing housing.

The pump range includes wide throat versions with auger assistance for handling difficult highly viscous media and also space saving vertical designs providing the flexibility of building the pump to suit the application environment.

Flows to 200 m3/h and pressures to 48 bar are typical for these pumps. Construction materials are selected to suit the application with the wetted housing components in either cast iron or 316 stainless steel.

The rotating parts are available in various materials including hardened alloy steel, 316 or 410 stainless steel either hard chrome plated or unplated.

Stator material options include nitrile, high nitrile, natural rubber, hypalon, EPDM or viton. Other materials are available.
