Firestone 70-P-13 Airomatic polyactuators

The Firestone 70-P-13 Airomatic polyactuators are small pneumatic actuators that can exert forces of more than 45 kN at 3.5 bar and last for millions of cycles in demanding industrial environments. They have a diameter of 76 mm.

Originally designed for the conveyor industry, suitable applications include transfer sections and roller brakes, but they can be used in almost any industrial actuation application requiring very small pressure and stroke.

Fabricated of moulded plastic elements welded together in a sealed unit, they are easily customisable to meet specific sizes and shapes for a wide variety of materials handling and processing applications. These highly compact actuators have no pistons, rods or sliding seals, so friction, bending, scoring and wear are not a concern.
