Dual channel pneumatic safety valve

Tuesday, 01 July, 2008 | Supplied by: Lewis Automation Pty Ltd

The Ross DM2 series pneumatic safety valves has dual valve elements for redundancy. The valves incorporate built-in monitoring and memory for compliance with category 4 safety systems (per AS 4024.1).

Flow paths through the valve use Crossflow SERPAR technology developed by Ross Controls for power stamping press applications.

Design improvement allow better monitoring for diminished performance and fault memory to preclude accidental reset.

The memory, monitor and air-flow control functions are integrated into the valves’ two identical operating elements. The poppet-based internals ensure fast repeatable response, high flow rates and reliable service. Air can be lube or non-lube.

The series is a base-mounted valve with versatile double porting making pipework and maintenance simple. An optional status indicator allows integration with electrical controls.

The valves are BG approved.
