Compressor range with energy efficiencies

Tuesday, 07 April, 2009 | Supplied by: Boge Compressors (Australia) Pty Ltd

The SO-W series screw compressors have been improved in the free air delivery (FAD) and with up to 4% in the specific power required (kW/m3/min).

The oil-free, water-cooled, screw compressor range features a separate suction box which ensures cool air intake, optimised internal flow diameters and coolers.

The increase in FAD is claimed to improve the series outputs by as much as 13%.

The series is particularly suitable for the food and drinks, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

The SO 61-126 W models are available in the standard pressure of 8, 10 and 13 bar. All models come with the added option of a frequency converter — useful to ensure optimum energy efficiency where the demand for compressed air fluctuates. Output capacities range from 5.25 to 13.01 m3/min and motor power 45 to 90 kW.
