SMC series MY3M rodless cylinder

The series MY3M from SMC is a space-saving, lightweight, mechanically jointed rodless cylinder with a high load capacity. Designed to complement the MY3 range, it features a slide bearing which improves both load weight and load movement performance.

Providing the ability to put work pieces directly onto the work table, the need to select and install external guides is no longer necessary. Additional benefits from using a slide bearing are space savings generated by incorporating an oval-shaped piston in its design. With height and length savings of up to 28% and 104 mm respectively and weight reductions of up to 50%, when compared to the company’s similar MY1M range, the range offers miniaturisation combined with performance.

Available in sizes equivalent to 16 to 63 mm bore, the range also features: air cushioning, with options for stroke adjusting units with integrated shock absorbers for fast speeds and loads; built-in magnet for direct mounting of auto switches on both sides of the cylinder; centralised piping; and both direct- or profile-mounting options.
