Natural gas compressor distributor announced

Australian compressor technology group Champion Compressors has been named as the exclusive Australian distributor for Bidell Equipment LP (Bidell), a Canadian-based supplier of reciprocating and rotary-screw natural gas compressors.

The agreement provides Australia’s oil and gas sector with premium access to the companies’ natural gas compression technologies and nationwide service and support.

Bidell natural gas compression equipment offered by Champion Compressors comprises rotary-screw and reciprocating compressors from 20 to 4500 hp. Each compressor variety is offered with natural gas engine or electric motor drive. Where changing well conditions demand variations in equipment performance, Bidell has developed a patented mobile solution — the NOMAD line of mobile compression systems. The NOMAD range allows the user to quickly change compression equipment to maintain flow and discharge pressure.

Bidell’s natural gas compression equipment and packages comply with all relevant industry standards, including API, ANSI, ASME, AS1210 and AS3000, making them suitable for a range of onshore oil and gas applications.
