Atlas Copco’s ZD VSD variable speed drive compressor reduces energy consumption by up to 35% on average and offers oil-free Class 0 for the highest quality air.

The compressor combines a VSD screw compressor, a VSD air dryer and a VSD blower in an energy-saving, four-stage combination. The dryer is included in the second-stage outlet, so an external air dryer is not necessary. The condensate-free booster results in a longer lifetime of components, and no problems with condensate draining or noisy flushing.

Discharge pressure range is from 25 to 40 bar and the system can be easily controlled with the company’s Elektronikon control system. The unit offer easy maintenance, using an oil-free screw and horizontal piston, and a number of adapter accessories are available. The operating temperature range for the compressor is up to 50°C.
