The EasyCoder PC4 barcode label printer has a small footprint and is easy to operate.
The printer prints barcode labels and receipts at a rate of up to 76 mm/s on labels up to 118 mm wide at 203 dpi. The double clamshell design makes it easy to load labels and receipt paper by simply dropping them in, ensuring little delay when performing label and ribbon changes.
The EasyCoder PC4 is supplied with LabelShop Start label design software and the InterDriver Windows driver. RS-232 Serial, USB and Centronics interfaces are standard, and firmware can be upgraded via the printer's PC connection or via the optional flash memory card.
Features include in-built 'peel and present' label backing remover, black mark sensor for printing tags and shaped labels, option of direct thermal or thermal transfer printing technology, Zebra/Eltron 2844 desktop printer programming language and label design software.
Optional features available include flash/SRAM memory cartridges, 300 dpi print head, media cutter unit and external keyboard.
Because this printer runs on the Zebra/Eltron 2844 desktop printer programming language, it can be added to any existing printer network that uses Zebra or Eltron printers and is fully compatible with Intermec's older EasyCoder91 and EasyCoder 7422 applications.
