McCrometer acquires Hach Flow product line
US flowmeter manufacturer McCrometer recently announced the transfer of the Hach Flow product line from Hach to McCrometer.
Hach Flow is a collection of products and services focused on open-channel flow monitoring for utility customers. McCrometer says the acquisition expands the company’s municipal flow range and establishes a more holistic product suite to meet the sophisticated needs of drinking water and wastewater flow applications.
The transfer of the Hach Flow product line is overseen by Brian Thompson, Hach Flow Integration Leader and Vice President of Sales for McCrometer, who joined the company from Hach in January this year.
“McCrometer’s acquisition of the Hach Flow product line allows for research and development investment for the overall product development roadmap,” he said. “Ultimately, it helps streamline our solutions-based services and allows McCrometer to continue to innovate on behalf of our municipal customers.”
Hach will continue to manufacture Hach Flow products as a contracted manufacturer for McCrometer, to maintain already efficient and effective product fulfilment. For new product development, McCrometer will execute research and development as well as manufacturing from its California headquarters.
In Australia, Hach Flow products will still be available from Hach Australia, while McCrometer products are distributed by AMS Instrumentation & Calibration.
