Hardy Instruments partners with Schneider Electric
Hardy Instruments has announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Schneider Electric as a member of its Collaborative Automation Partner Program (CAPP). Hardy Instruments will support Schneider Electric worldwide with precision weighing and process instrumentation technology.
Hardy Instruments is a solution provider of precision weighing and process instrumentation systems. Schneider Electric is a global specialist in energy management. Hardy's participation in CAPP will enable it to maximise productivity by building on Schneider Electric's open automation platforms and strategies.
Hardy has established itself as an industry leader in weighing automation and tension control by providing high-accuracy and precision measurements while seamlessly integrating process weight signals into the plant control system. Innovative core technologies incorporated into Hardy products include:
- WAVERSAVER, which eliminates the effects of surrounding vibration to provide a fast, stable weight display
- C2, which allows for electronic calibration without the need for test weights
- Secure Memory Module with Secure Digital (SD) card (SMM-SD), which allows manual transfer of configuration data to another instrument or PC using SD technology
- INTEGRATED TECHNICIAN (IT) for system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Hardy Instrument products include advanced process control instrumentation, load cells, scales, junction boxes and its specially designed C2 cable, all compatible with Schneider PLCs via ethernet ModbusTCP communication. Applications include batching, bulk bag, check weighing, dispensing, filling, force measurement, level control and loss- and gain-in-weight rate control.
