Endress+Hauser Liquiline CM442 multiparameter controller
Endress+Hauser’s Liquiline CM442 digital, multiparameter controller and range of digital sensors are designed to provide a comprehensive analyser and sampler platform.
Memosens digital technology overcomes technical problems associated with analog analytical measurements and ensures reliable data transmission. The uniform connection and software across all parameters standardises operation for all devices to assure safety and minimise training costs.
Identical sensor modules, connections and cables make it possible to switch between parameters without any adapters. This simplifies inventory requirements and costs. Because one CM442 controller can be used for two parameters, fewer field transmitters/controllers are needed at a measuring point. Any combination of two sensors can be connected, and eight-sensor capability will be available early in 2011.
The CM442 has a graphic backlit display for simple and clear menu guidance. A jog shuttle navigator allows the user to scroll rapidly through plain text menus, even when wearing gloves. In addition to the configurable relay outputs, the display features a red-lit background for alarm conditions to alert users to errors, further enhancing safety.
Fast commissioning, calibration and maintenance is possible because of the plug-and-play capabilities of the Memosens technology, which allows for preconfiguration and workshop calibration of sensors. Process compensations and auto-cleaning functions are enabled by editable tables and mathematical functions, while effective asset management is enabled when integrated into Endress+Hauser’s FieldCare and W@M asset management solutions.
