Moxa ioLogik R1200 series RS485 serial interface I/O devices
The Moxa ioLogik R1200 series is a line of smart RS485 serial interface remote I/O devices with features such as communication configuration by software, uploading configuration or firmware by USB, dual RS485 ports and built-in repeater.
The devices are designed for establishing a cost-effective, dependable and easy-to-maintain process control remote I/O system. Serial remote I/O products offer process engineers the benefit of simple wiring, as they only require two wires to communicate with the controller and other RS485 devices while adopting the EIA/TIA RS-485 communication protocol to transmit and receive data at high speed over long distances.
In addition to communication configuration by software or USB and dual RS485 port design, the company’s smart remote I/O devices eliminate the extensive labour associated with the set-up and maintenance of data acquisition and automation systems. The company also offers different I/O combinations, which provide greater flexibility and are compatible with every kind of application.
The series offer a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C, as well as 1 kV surge protection and 3 kV I/O isolation between I/O channels, networks and power circuits.
