Cybertec 2150 and 2250 quad-band 3G routers
The Cybertec 2150 and 2250 3G routers improve on their predecessors by including a faster processor, additional memory and quad-band modules as well as additional functionality in firmware. The 2150 and 2250 are direct replacements for the former Cybertec 2100 and 2220 models.
The Cybertec 2150 is a 3G cellular router designed to provide high reliability and availability in industrial applications. Incorporating an integrated 2-port ethernet switch and RS232 interface, it can provide secure remote cellular connectivity ethernet and serial devices. Features such as smart multilevel watchdog technology ensure long-term operational stability while comprehensive remote management and diagnostic tools provide enhanced maintainability over the cellular network.
The Cybertec 2250 is a high-performance 3G cellular router which extends the connectivity capabilities of the 2150 by incorporating an additional two serial ports and four integrated digital I/O. The inclusion of multiple serial ports allows concurrent transmission of different serial data streams across the cellular network. For instance, the 2250 can provide simultaneous connections for both polled SCADA data from the communications port and diagnostic data from the configuration port of the same device. This way remote maintenance and management of the device can be performed without a technician having to visit the site. The integrated digital I/O provides alarm/event triggering and interlocking capabilities as well as the ability to set or reset remote devices over the cellular network.
