Madison Technologies offering wireless range for hazardous areas
Madison Technologies has announced an agreement with Ventev, the manufacturing unit of TESSCO Technologies. The agreement permits Madison Technologies to provide solutions for hazardous and harsh environments comprising Ventev enclosures integrated with Rajant radios. Ventev is a global provider of products designed to power, protect and connect wireless networks.
The initial line of products includes the KM3-ES-2450 and ES1-IS-2450. These network solutions are suitable for the energy market, particularly for oil and gas operations that rely heavily on SCADA, real-time monitoring and video surveillance. Protection for radio, injectors and other WLAN equipment for harsh and hazardous environments is made possible when pairing a Rajant BreadCrumb with the Ventev enclosure. This plug-and-play enclosure is suitable for establishing a resilient Rajant Kinetic Mesh network in refineries, chemical plants, drilling and offshore platforms, and mining operations. The company says it enables high-security levels and support for virtually any application, offering numerous interfaces to enable data, voice and video applications with multiple mounting options while also minimising installation time.
“Ventev is a global provider of products designed to complement wireless networks, with over 16 years of design and development experience,” said Paul Calabro, CEO of Madison Technologies. “Our partnership with Ventev will provide our customers with high-quality, reliable and robust solutions for wireless high-speed data applications across the industries we work in. We look forward to building the Ventev program in alignment with our customer and supplier partner programs in the region.”
“Ventev is pleased to offer the harsh and hazardous environment solutions alongside Rajant and Madison Technologies in the Australian market,” said Thad Lowe, Vice President, General Manager of Ventev. “These new products enable customers to maintain complete and optimal connectivity across any dynamic environment. This allows for continuous data monitoring in real time, which will ultimately enhance and improve operations overall.”
