Vacuum management

The automatic vacuum management (AVM) system is an integrated control option for highly automated systems using the Piab P6010 vacuum pump.

AVM instantly shuts off air consumption when the set vacuum level is reached. When the vacuum is released after a completed work cycle, the cycle time is reduced due to the fact that the pressure is quickly balanced by a high-capacity blow-off function.

AVM's high capacity blow-off function makes it suitable for handling non-leaking parts, such as glass and sheet metal.

Piab's AVM is offered as a complete package, including integrated valves and vacuum switches. It can be connected to Piab's P6010 vacuum pump without further controls or monitoring equipment, reducing system design time for manufacturers. This option can reduce air consumption by up to 90%, when compared with continuously operating systems. Based on the Coax multi-stage ejector technology, the P6010 vacuum pump provides up to 40% more flow than conventional vacuum pumps.
