Many applications require the use of a vacuum ejector (generator) to develop the vacuum pressure for pick and place and other applications. Using compressed air to create the vacuum pressure often places a high demand on valuable compressed air resources.
Using a multistage ejector will ensure that only the required amount of air is used throughout the vacuum process. With three stages of vacuum and corresponding reduced compressed air demand, the ZL112 from SMC Pneumatics is one in a series of energy-saving vacuum ejectors providing suction flows 250% greater than single- or double-stage ejectors and with a 20% reduction in air consumption.
With a number of variations to suit particular applications, the ZL112 is also available with a positive pressure vacuum break valve to ensure the product is positively released.
