Pepperl+Fuchs photoelectric slot sensor
The Pepperl+Fuchs photoelectric range includes a special design of a through-beam sensor called a slot sensor. It is used where only a short sensing distance is needed.
Slot sensors have the advantage, in comparison to standard through-beam sensors, of a simpler electrical installation, as wiring is only required for one device. In addition, there are no alignment issues between the emitter and receiver.
The sensor’s features include: push-button programmable, adjustable sensitivity; detection of paper and foil labels, including translucent varieties.
