Kistler Staiger Mohilo NCF-H servo-driven press spindle

Tuesday, 20 July, 2010 | Supplied by: SI Instruments

The Kistler Staiger Mohilo NCF-H is the latest model in the Kistler range of servo-driven press spindles. The NCF-H is built with a hollow shaft motor, allowing a compact design for the press spindle. The integrated piezoelectric force sensor allows extreme overload situations and dual range operation.

The NCF-H is fitted with an absolute encoder for exact positioning of the ram and can achieve speeds of up to 300 mm/s, a maximum force capacity of 60 kN and a maximum stroke of 400 mm. The electromechanical press spindle can be used for both push as well as pull operations in the same stroke. The multifunctional monitor can be programmed to evaluate the press fittings and identify incorrect press fittings.
