Economical stepper drive

The RTA NDC series drives are suitable single- or multi-axis motion control applications where a low-cost solution is required. The resolution is selectable to 4000 steps/rev for smooth operation.

The power supply can be anywhere between 24 and 75 VDC unregulated. The drive output is up to 6 A at 75 V, making it suitable for 23 or 34 frame motors.

As with all RTA drives, current settings are determined by DIP switches rather than external resistors.

The drive is protected from motor short circuit, overtemperature and overvoltage (all indicated by LEDs).

For high-density packing, there is also an optional DIN rail adapter for multi-axis applications. The NDC drives also have an in-built oscillator (with some ramping) which is useful in manual positioning, constant speed control and labelling applications.
