Draw-wire sensor

The MK120 from measurement technology manufacturer Micro-Epsilon, Germany, is an OEM low-cost draw-wire sensor and offers a measuring range of up to 7.5 m.

Derived from numerous standard pull wire sensors, the MK120 has a housing made from glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) rather than metal. The sensor can therefore be provided at a relatively low cost for high-volume orders. With a measuring range of 7500 mm, applications that require a large measuring range and a low-cost sensor can now be used.

The unit comes in three measuring ranges (3, 5 and 7.5 m), provides 4–20 mA, 0-10 V or potentiometer outputs, and has a linearity of ±0.05% FSO. Special requirements such as optional output types are also available.
