Camille Bauer angular transducers

Camille Bauer angular transducers employ highly accurate, absolute-angle measurement techniques based on moving capacitor vane principles. The non-contact measurement method provides very high angular resolution, an inherent absolute measurement of angle and very high reliability.

The angular transducers use two fixed, concentric capacitor plates positioned at a short, accurately fixed distance from each other. A vane attached to the transducer shaft is positioned between the two concentric capacitor plates. Angular displacement is electronically measured by the changes in capacitance caused by the moving vane.

The Kinax WT720 is a rugged industrial application transducer suitable for high-vibration, mechanical-shock and elevated-humidity environments. The output is 4-20 mA. Parameter limits, direction of rotation, zero point and span are all easily set directly on the transducer.
