The GR 22, G 30.1 and G 30.0 motors are now available in versions with neodymium magnets. Compared with the basic version of the motors with ferrite magnets, they offer up to 30% higher starting torque. The speed characteristic of these motors under load is marked by a flatter characteristic curve and thus smaller variations in speed. In comparison with the standard motors, versions with neodymium magnets have a substantially lower current draw under a given set of conditions. This implies higher efficiency. And that brings advantages especially for battery-operated applications.

For example, the G 30.0 motor with a diameter of 30 mm provides up to 16 Ncm starting torque and a continuous torque of 3.7 Ncm. In conjunction with the Dunkermotoren planetary gear PLG 32, torque up to 10 Nm can be achieved. The motors can be supplied for a nominal voltage of either 24 VDC or 40 VDC.

For larger projects, application-specific windings and mechanical modifications are possible.

Since they are part of the Dunkermotoren modular system, there is a range of encoders, brakes and gearboxes for them, which can be used to create complete drive systems.
