Bestech LR Series linear position sensors

The LR Series non-contact linear inductive sensors have been developed to fill a gap in the factory automation marketplace. Presently most factory automation applications are solved with linear potentiometers, typically due to the higher cost of other available advanced technologies.

Bestech says the LR Series inductive sensors offer non-contact measurement at a similar cost to potentiometers. They have a good stroke to length ratio compared to LVDTs - they only require about an additional 3.8 cm beyond the stroke. Their zero and full scale are easily field settable, and they can operate on voltages from 5 VDC.

The LRx-19 series have a 19 mm diameter and strokes from 25 to 200 mm, while the more heavy-duty nLRx-27 series have a 27 mm diameter and offer stroke lengths from 100 to 450 mm. There are axial or radial connector options and four analog outputs, comprising three voltage and one current output.
