The Banner Engineering World-Beam Q20FF fixed-field background suppression sensor is a compact photoelectric sensor offering enhanced sensing capabilities with visible red, fixed-field background suppression and a sensing range up to 150 mm.

With the addition of the visible red fixed-field background suppression models, the company has expanded the number of applications for the Q20 series. The high-performance optical design of the fixed-field Q20 series is evident in the small emitter beam and well-focussed optics, providing an increased sensing range and greater immunity to objects beyond the fixed detection range. Combined with electronic immunity to fluorescent light sources, the sensors will result in more reliable and stable detection.

The Q20FF is provided in a standard sensor housing with 25.4 mm mounting hole spacing, and is available with 50, 100, or 150 mm sensing ranges.

The Q20FF is IP67/NEMA 6 and NEMA PW12 1200 PSI washdown rated. QD models come with metallic M8 and M12 connectors with a threaded connection to the cord set. Operation is from a supply of from 10-30 VDC with complementary solid-state outputs (1 normally open, 1 normally closed), PNP (sourcing) or NPN (sinking) by model.
