ASM PRAS26 magnetic angle sensor

Friday, 21 March, 2014 | Supplied by: Automated Control Pty Ltd

The ASM PRAS26 angle sensor has a magnetically coupled design with separate permanent magnet - increasing reliability by keeping the two opposed moving parts physically separated, preventing wear and removing ingress points normally associated with bearing or limit-switch solutions.

With high resolution and slimline construction of 9.5 mm high, the angle sensor is suitable for space-saving installations in automated machines. In addition, it is fully encapsulated and made of heat-resistant materials providing high vibration, shock and moisture tolerance.

The angle sensor has a measurement range of 0-360° with a resolution of 0.03%. Analog outputs of the sensor are 0.5-4.5 V, 0.5-10 V or 4-20 mA., and the compact, low-profile housing has a protection class of IP67.
