Micro-Epsilon colour sensor range for pharmaceuticals and manufacturing

In production and quality assurance, various types of colour sensor can be used for improving productivity and reducing costs.

German manufacturer Micro-Epsilon, represented in Australia and New Zealand by Bestech Australia, offers high-quality colour sensors using the latest optical fibre technology. The sensors record colour values, intensities and functions on various surfaces and self-luminous objects.

The ACS7000 inline colour measurement system is used for structured and highly reflective surfaces as well as lustrous metals. It offers a 50 mm measuring distance, a 30°/0° geometry and a 9 mm diameter targeting spot. Fixed lenses for colour recognition on matt surfaces, non-homogeneous and textured surfaces, and for fluorescent objects are also available.

Colour sensors find applications in paper, recycling recognition in the printing industry, packaging inspection, sorting tasks, LED function, colour and intensity tests, colour assignment on automobiles, detection of drink crates, detection of safeguarding threads and measuring the turbidity of liquids.
