ifm efector PMDLine O5D and OID photoelectric sensors
The ifm efector PMDLine O5D photoelectric sensor with display and OID sensor with easy turn concept both offer features such as reliable background suppression and colour-independent detection with switch point setting to the nearest centimetre. Additionally, the PMDLine sensors reliably detect shiny surfaces such as stainless steel.
The newly developed sensors with photonic mixer device (PMD) technology combine the advantages of long-range, reliable background suppression, visible red light and high excess gain in one unit.
The sensor includes ease of use and switch point setting to the nearest centimetre via ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons and display, or alternatively via IO-Link, which also allows readout of the actual value. The OID switch point can be set with a simple turn of the setting ring (easy turn). The scale shows the distance set.
Shiny, matt, dark or light objects of any colour - the O5D/OID sensors always ensure optimum background suppression. The units allow any angle of incidence, providing high flexibility of installation.
