Lowara e-SV stainless steel, vertical multistage pumps are claimed to feature innovative hydraulic design and efficiency characteristics that significantly lower life-cycle costs, with increased energy savings and are suited for a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications.

The hydraulic design provides higher efficiency and NPSHr levels with the stainless steel construction allowing drinking water certification to WRAS, ACS and NSF - enabling the pump to meet municipalities’ requirements for clean water while providing superior high resistance.

Installation is simplified and maintenance time reduced by the O-ring seat that allows easy disassembly of the outer sleeve, allowing the mechanical seal to be replaced without removing the motor. Robust design methods have targeted an MTBF of 20,000 hours, with minimised impeller axial thrust, resulting in longer bearing life and use of standard motor configurations.

Higher pump efficiency allows greater energy savings with lower kilowatt motors. When combined with ITT’s HydroVar controller, the pump offers an additional 10% potential energy savings.

Standard on pumps of 7.5 kW and above is the i-Alert monitor that continually measures vibration to support optimum performance.

The pump can be used for many applications, including: water supply and pressure boosting, water treatment, light industry, irrigation and farming, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
