CPS Sabin chains

Designed to work in the direction of cable movement, CPS Sabin Chains protect electrical cables from dust and other substances while allowing machinery to move unimpeded.

Sabin systems use band connection, instead off the more conventional link pin connection, which tends to be noisy and less functional. They do not contain harmful substances like lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium and so on. This makes the chains recyclable as they are inert and do not harm users or the environment.

And, where hygiene is a prerequisite, the clean room (CR-Type) series is also available. The range is suitable for demanding production lines such as those in semiconductor and LCD manufacturing, which require a clean and quiet environment.

The N-Type Sabin Chain is the standard series, designed to be more durable and more flexible than current cable protection systems. These chains provide a virtual wall around the inner chamber, allowing only for necessary movement and providing flexibility for machines that don’t track perfectly.

E-Type chains are fully enclosed through the entire length to provide total protection from impact or ingress of foreign objects. These chains are suitable for use in welding or press lines.

S-Type chains are designed for long stroke applications and where self-supporting characteristics are required. This series features CPS’s ‘roller-skid’. Using roller bearings, roller skids virtually eliminate the coefficient of friction encountered in such movement.
