Victorian/Tasmanian office opened
Grundfos Pumps Pty Ltd has officially opened its Victorian/Tasmanian state office.
The new facilities in Mulgrave provide additional benefits such as: state-of-the-art training facilities, a fully
functioning pump demonstration room, increased service and storage capabilities, an easily accessible location, plentiful car parking and upgraded information and communications systems.
The event was attended by key customers and contacts in the pump and water industries, and also by members of organisations such as Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria and Master Plumbers' and Mechanical Services Association of Australia.
Upon arrival, guests were invited to walk around the new facilities, visiting various areas and displays including working displays and presentations in the demonstration room, a presentation on Grundfos Sustainability in the training room, a case story presentation on the Gippsland Water Factory, and a look at pump testing and service capabilities in the warranty and testing room.
The premises were officially opened before lunch with a plaque unveiling by Søren Ø. Sørensen, Grundfos’ s Group Executive Vice President, who made the trip from Denmark. Also in attendance at the opening was Carsten Andersen, Chairman of Grundfos Pumps Pty Ltd Board of Directors.
In the wake of the recent bushfires that have devastated Victoria, Sørensen also announced that Grundfos would contribute $30,000 to the Australian Red Cross 2009 Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
