TML TC-32K digital strain meter and CWS-5A switching box
TML has introduced the TC-32K digital strain meter and data logger, and the CSW-5A 5-channel automatic switching box.
In addition to strain, DC voltage, thermocouple and Pt RTD measurements, the TC-32K can be used as a digital multimeter for measurement of resistance and insulation resistance. The liquid crystal display (LCD) backlit screen shows not only the value measured, but auxiliary information associated with programming of the instrument, such as sensor mode and scaling parameters.
Data measured and stored by the digital strain meter can be transferred to a PC using a flash memory card (FAT16). A maximum of 80,000 measured data can easily be processed and analysed by software such as MS-Excel. An interval timer is also available so that users don’t have to be on site to record data.
The input terminals feature a finger-touch design that allows quick and easy connection to leads of different sensors with no screws or solder needed. Alkaline or rechargeable Ni-Cd AA batteries power the unit, and a built-in battery prevents data loss.
The CSW-5A is a 5-channel automatic switching box using the TC-32K interval timer to allow multiple channel inputs. Each channel can be programmed with its own scaling parameter and sensor mode through the keypad of TC-32K, up to a total of 50 channels. These switching boxes, specially designed for TC-32K, can be used for strain gauge, strain gauge type transducer, TEDS compatible load cell, DC voltage, thermocouple and platinum resistance-temperature devices.
USB and RS232C interfaces are available for online measurement and control purposes.
