Hammond Electronics 1554, 1555 and 1555F IP64 enclosures

Hammond has added a smaller size to the IP68-sealed 1554, 1555 and 1555F families of polycarbonate enclosures. The 1554A (52 x 51 x 41 mm) is available with a solid grey, a clear or smoked lid. Also added are the 1555A with a solid-styled lid, and the 1555FA, where a flanged lid facilitates mounting to a surface and the base is styled to accept membrane keypads and other components.

The smallest size in the ranges is in response to customer demand for more compact units that can be used in both indoor and outdoor installations. The requirement for environmentally sealed small enclosures continues to expand as subsystems and HMI units are installed in harsh environments throughout the factory floor and beyond.

The IP68 polycarbonate enclosures are UV stabilised for outdoor use, are cUL and UL listed, and are tested to IP68 (NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13). Optional 1.6 mm galvanised steel panels are available for all sizes for mounting heavier components.
