The UPC-12A is a 12.1" aluminium UPS panel PC with smart battery technology that allows operators to monitor and manage the battery status directly through the user interface. It is equipped with a battery pack that provides emergency power to significantly reduce the risk of damage if the main power suddenly shuts down.

The UPC-12A includes a 12.1" XGA LCD screen with optional 1000 nit sunlight-readable capability and resistive touch screen. The front panel of the panel PC meets IP65 standards and features two waterproof USB 2.0 ports for easy access in wet or dusty environments. The built-in ambient light sensor detects light for automated screen adjustments to optimise viewing.

The powerful panel PC features an optional Intel GM45 chipset with a 45 nm mobile Core2 Duo processor, or an onboard ULV Intel Celeron M 1 GHz CPU with 512 K cache, and an Intel 910GMLE chipset. The UPC-12A also has dual gigabit LAN ports, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, VGA, audio, a PCI expansion slot, optional PCIe expansion slot, three RS232 COM ports, one RS232/422/485 COM port and six USB 2.0 ports.
