Kontron KISS 4U PCI761 4U rackmount server
The Kontron Industrial Silent Server KISS 4U PCI761 is a 4U rackmount server that supports the 64-bit Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors and 12 expansion slots. The system can be configured with a wide range of ATX standard components corresponding to the individual application requirements.
The Kontron KISS 4U PCI761 rackmount server offers support for up to four cores and 8 GB DDR3-1333 RAM. It also includes a PICMG 1.3 backplane, which can be populated with up to 12 full-size PCI and PCI Express expansion cards for customised I/O designs. It is suitable for a broad range of applications including asynchronous real-time applications in measurement and testing technology, image processing and process control. Industrial automation applications also benefit, for example, in control rooms and control centres where the server can be used with several graphics cards in multidisplay installations.
The Kontron PICMG 1.3 system host board PCI-761 offers an MTBF of about 100,000 h. The system also offers high resistance to shock and vibration and an operating temperature range of 0 to 55°C, with a resistance to humidity of 10-95% due to their IP20-protected front (optional IP52).
Two different backplane configurations are available with different combinations of PCI and PCIe slots. Interfaces for two Gigabit Ethernet, 12 USB 2.0 and two COM (one RS232/422/485, one RS232) are standard, along with video (DVI-D, VGA), audio ports and PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard.
The KISS 4U PCI761 is CE-certified and UL-qualified. It is validated for Red Hat Linux, Windows XP and Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit).
