The IceRock-08A is powered by an Intel Atom Z530P with full hardware acceleration and its graphic performance supports H.264, MPEG1/2/4, VC-1/WMV9 high-definition decoding, eliminating the need for software decoding.

Lightweight at 1 kg, this low-power, easy-to-use tablet PC has an IP62-rated front panel providing resistance to spills and dust and features an 8 LED backlit TFT LCD with touch screen and up to 4 h of battery life. A mobile broadband internet connection over 3G mobile phone networks is also possible.

The IceRock provides up to IEEE 802.11n operation, while the preinstalled Bluetooth module (transmission up to 20 m) communicates with a wide range of electronic devices from mobile phones to bar-code readers.

Other features include an ambient light sensor which automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen for optimum visibility and energy efficiency; eight programmable function keys to access frequently used applications; a built-in 1.3 mp video intercom device for real-time communication with a webcam suitable for use in low light situations; and a built-in G-Sensor which automatically toggles between portrait and landscape display modes.
